Russell T. Wright

Mr. Wright is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the company, including establishing and presenting the company strategy, goals and objectives. He manages and directs the day-to-day operation of the company to ensure that the goals and objectives are successfully attained. This includes management over the operational aspect of each department, including Human Resources, IT, Finance, and Contracts. He is responsible for, and assists with all aspects of business development activities. In addition, he is the liaison between the corporation and all political affiliations.

In his role leading the day-to-day operations of DI, Mr. Wright participates in the development of all proposals (cost and technical); provides direction regarding DI’s mergers and acquisitions; reviews, analyzes and approves all teaming, non-disclosure and contractual arrangements on behalf of DI; and works with all senior managers in their everyday decision-making as it relates to the various departments within DI.

In addition to his responsibilities at DI, Mr. Wright is actively involved in the community. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council
(NVTC), the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and serves on the George Mason University Diversity Advisory Board.

Mr. Wright holds a B.A. in Business Management from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, a Masters in Business Administration and Project Management from Keller Graduate School and has a Masters Certificate in Government Contracting from the George Washington University School of Business and Public Management. He also completed the Minority Business Executive Program at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
